St. Martha’s Guild: A luncheon from noon till 3:00 pm, will be held on Thursday, August 27th for all St. Martha Guild members past and present. This will be a great time to visit and, also, a planning and decision-making meeting to decide the future of the group.
Bible Study on Wednesdays- from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in Larkin Hall. We are currently studying the Gospel of Matthew.

Long Beach Rescue Mission Training is August 8, 2026, at 9:00 AM. The site address is 1335 Pacific Avenue, Long Beach, California 90803. We will carpool from the church at 8:15 AM
Broken Loaf Food Pantry collection is the Third Sunday of each month. Please place donations on the steps in front of the altar in order to be blessed. The next gathering is August 16, 2026.
Welcome Back Sunday September 13, 2026. There will be one service at 9:00 am with brunch to follow.
Holliday Bazaar: Vendors Needed: If you wish to have a table at our Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, November 21 please contact the Church Office at stlb47@verizon.net. Tables are $35/ea.
Collect from Eighth Sunday after Pentecost: Almighty God, the fountain of all wisdom, you know our necessities before we ask and our ignorance in asking: Have compassion on our weakness, and mercifully give us those things which for our unworthiness we dare not, and for our blindness we cannot ask; through the worthiness of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
