United Thank Offering: This Lent our congregation is exploring gratitude and reciprocity with the United Thank Offering. We have a Lenten Calendar for use during Lent to focus a bit of time each day reflecting on those things for which we are grateful and how we can add to the goodness they bring into the world around us. Alongside this formation program, we’ll also have UTO Blue Boxes available. We'll collect the boxes on Easter Sunday as a part of our UTO celebration.  The Lenten Calendar and UTO Blue Boxes will be available beginning this Sunday for those that would like to use them. 

Men’s Breakfast: Second Saturday of each Month. Next Men’s Breakfast March 14, 2026, Meet at Denny’s at South and Bellflower at 8:00 am for food and fellowship

Women’s BrunchTBD, at Hofs Hut, 2147 N Bellflower Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90815 at 10:00am.

St. Martha’s Guild – Thursdays 9:30-11:30 am in Larkin Hall

Lectio Divina on Wednesdays During Lent. from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in Larkin Hall.

Stations of the Cross: Fridays at Noon during lent.

Bishops’ Committee This Wednesday, March 29, 2026, at 11:45 am

Drummer Group: A new women’s drum group will be using Crosby Hall on the third Thursday of each month from 6-9 pm. It is open to women who might be interested.

Bringing House to Church, March 28, 2026, Begins at 6:00 pm In the Sanctuary and Crosby Hall.

Collect from the Second Sunday of Lent: O God, whose glory it is always to have mercy: Be gracious to all who have gone astray from your ways, and bring them again with penitent hearts and steadfast faith to embrace and hold fast the unchangeable truth of your Word, Jesus Christ your Son; who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Bishop Search Committee offers updated timeline

The Bishop Search Committee has released an updated version of the Bishop Search timeline. The estimated dates for milestones in the Bishop Search are below:

May 2026: The bishop-elect Antonio Gallardo begins work in the diocese.

July 11, 2026: Consecration and ordination of the new bishop, Antonio Gallardo.

July-September 2026: Bishop Taylor remains as a consultant, providing support during the transition.

October 2026: Bishop Taylor retires.
